Delete Your Account and Data

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This page explains how to delete your EDGE account (package app.edgebets, developed by Mendez Labs) along with all your data, and also how to delete only part of your data without closing your account.

You do not need the app installed or an active session to read this. If you can no longer access your account, there is an email route at the end.

Option A · Delete your account and all data

From the app or from edge-bets.app:

  1. Sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Open the Settings tab.
  4. Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Delete my account.
  6. Type the word ELIMINAR in the field that appears. This second barrier is deliberate: an irreversible deletion should not be one tap away.
  7. Confirm.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You are signed out, and neither the account nor the data can be recovered: we keep no backups of deleted accounts.

What is deleted

All of the following is permanently erased:

  • Your identity: the sign-in account (email and password, Google, or Apple), your name, and your email address.
  • Your activity: recorded bets, bankrolls, forecasts, pool predictions and their scores, match notes, published picks, and pick reports.
  • Your public profile and pool badges, including your shareable card.
  • Your private leagues: the ones you created are deleted along with their memberships, so nobody is left pointing at a ghost league. You are also removed from other people's leagues.
  • The AI copilot: your conversations and usage counters.
  • Your support tickets.
  • Your devices: the push notification identifiers (FCM tokens) for every device you signed in on.
  • Your subscription: if you paid by card through Stripe, it is cancelled automatically before anything is deleted, so you are not charged again.

What is NOT deleted, and why

We are explicit about this because it is either legally required of us or simply not ours to erase:

  • Billing records. We do not hold them: Google Play, Apple, and Stripe keep them for tax purposes — five years in Mexico. We cannot delete them or have them deleted.
  • Server technical logs (IP addresses and errors), kept for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Two things you must do yourself

  • If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, the store manages that subscription, not us: deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it yourself in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone. Do this before deleting your account.
  • If you signed in with Sign in with Apple, we delete all your data, but the authorization you granted EDGE lives in your Apple account. Revoke it in Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → EDGE → Stop using Apple ID.

Option B · Delete part of your data without closing your account

If you would rather stay but remove certain data, you can do it yourself in the app. Each of these deletions is immediate and permanent:

A bankroll Profile → Settings → Bankrolls → delete button on the bankroll you want → confirm. This deletes the bankroll (its name, capital, and purpose). The bets you recorded against it are not deleted with it: they remain in your history.

Copilot conversations Open the copilot → session history → delete a single conversation, or clear them all at once.

A published pick Feed → your post → delete. It stops being visible to other users immediately.

Your league membership Pool → Leagues → open the league → Leave league. Your membership record is deleted.

Your device identifiers Profile → Settings → Notifications toggle → turn it off. This revokes this device's token and deletes its record. It also happens automatically every time you sign out.
